Hilltop Honey has been making a wide variety of honeys since its early days back in 1995.  Some of those varieties are: Wildflower, Basswood honey, NJ Blueberry Honey, and Japanese Bamboo which is the final major surplus honey of the year.

The following is a brief description of each so you’ll know what to expect with your choice.

Wildflower Honey
Wildflower Honey captures the nectar from a myriad of flowering trees, shrubs and flowers. Honeybees busily fly from flower to flower returning with the nectar from a multitude of blossoms to their hive. When all these nectars combine they create a full-bodied, hearty honey, it is best described as Wildflower.  Wildflower Honey has deep, rich flavor and is typically not as sweet as a Clover Honey. Many enjoy this heartiness and prefer to use Wildflower Honey in their cooking and baking. (10 oz.)

Japanese Bamboo a/k/a Knotweed
Japanese Bamboo honey is produced in uncultivated areas along railroad tracks, back yards with weeds and along highways. It is dark, full-bodied, and rich in iron -- a key reason it's popular with honey lovers. Japanese Bamboo has been found to contain more antioxidant compounds than many lighter honeys. It is perhaps the strongest and darkest Honey, looking like Coca-Cola.  (10 oz.) in season

Creamed or Raw Honey
If we had a specialty that seems to get everyone’s attention it would have to be the Creamed/Raw Honey.
Creamed honey is 100% pure honey – there is nothing extra added.  The “cream” process relies on and enhances, honey’s natural tendency to crystallize.  Utilizing this feature creates a product with a very small crystal size, so small that the product appears smooth and silky.  The interlocking nature of these crystals produces its smooth, thick, spreadable texture.  (10 oz.)

Hand Creams with Beeswax
Beeswax effectively softens your skin and creates a long-lasting protective coating against the elements. Beeswax is a naturally nourishing moisturizer as well as being anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-allergenic and a germicidal antioxidant.  Couple that with the added essential oils of Lavender Hand Cream, which is antiseptic, has antifungal properties for the skin and Lemongrass Hand Cream which is an anti-microbial, anti-bacterial and fungicidal makes it easy to see, Hilltop Honey’s Hand Cream will help your hands through the cold winter months.  (1.5 oz.)

Honeylips Lip Balms
Lip Balms moisturize and soothe lips that have been affected by the sun, the wind, the temperature or even illness.  Hilltop Honeylips has excellent ingredients for moisturizing dry cracked lips.  Besides Bees Wax our Hilltop Honeylips has Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, essential oil and Vitamin E.

Pure Beeswax Candles
Pure Beeswax Candles are one more of the hives perfect products. Pure Beeswax candles burn longer and cleaner than ordinary wax candles. They are smokeless and give off more light and heat than other wax candles and are virtually drip less, if kept in a draft free environment. These candles are perfect for holidays, table settings, a mantle, or a special occasion and you will notice a halo surrounding every flame. An additional note, the honeybee must consume between 7 to 9 lb's. of honey to make 1 lb. of Beeswax.
